Problems Accessing Online Library Resources
Here are some of the most common issues related to accessing the Libraries' Online Resources.

Link Error Message
If you select a link to an online library resource and you get the following message, simply follow the instructions in the message and we will fix the broken link.
MaxVirtualHosts Error Message
This message indicates that all access to online library resources is unavailable. If you see this MaxVirtualHosts error message, please contact us so we can fix the problem as soon as possible!
Login Does Not Work
Are you entering your login information correctly? Your login is your Eastern Kentucky University E-Key (EKU email username and password).
E-Key login examples:
- Student username (john_doe21)
- Faculty/Staff username (doej)
If this does not work, please contact IT to make sure your E-Key information is up to date.
If IT confirms that your E-Key information is accurate, and you are still having problems logging in, please contact us so we can troubleshoot this problem.
EKU-issued Laptops and Online Library Resource Access Issues
Some EKU laptops may have difficulty connecting to library resources due to recent campus IT updates. If this is affecting you, please try the following workaround:
Locate the "Corporate Connectivity" icon in the lower right hand corner of your screen. It looks like a desktop computer:
Right-click this icon. In the box that appears, click "Use local DNS resolution."
