Special Collections and Archives

EKU's Special Collections and Archives capture the history of the University, Madison County, and eastern Kentucky by collecting and preserving manuscripts, photographs, and books of historical and regional significance.  Special Collections and Archives are also an extraordinary resource of genealogical information and are home to many collections of importance such as the papers of former Kentucky congressman Carl D. Perkins, the Mason & Hanger company records, and the Anna Kadlac papers.

To support the continued preservation of our past, simply make a gift and designate it to Special Collections and Archives.
