United States Code Annotated: Published by West. Provides text of all current law with annotations to relevant court decisions and West Topic and Key Numbers. Updated annually with pocket parts.These volumes are shelved in the Law Library.
United States Code Service: Published by Lawyers' Cooperative. Provides text of all current with annotations to other Lawyers' Cooperative publications. Updated annually with pocket parts. These volumes are shelved in the Law Library.
U.S. Congressional & Adminstrative News: Excellent source for text and legislative histories of enacted federal laws. Updated semimonthly during the session of Congress and monthly when Congress is not in session; with annual cumulation. These volumes are shelved in the Law Library.
Code of Federal Regulations: The Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) is the codification of the general and permanent rules published in the Federal Register by the executive departments and agencies of the Federal Government. It is divided into 50 titles that represent broad areas subject to Federal regulation. Each volume of the CFR is updated once each calendar year and is issued on a quarterly basis. These volumes are shelved in the Government Documents department.
LSA--List of CFR Sections Affected: Lists proposed, new, and amended Federal regulations that have been published in the Federal Register since the most recent revision date of a CFR title. The LSA is issued monthly; however, on GPO Access, the LSA also contains three supplemental services: the List of CFR Parts Affected Today, CurrentList of CFR Parts Affected, and Last Month’s List of CFR Parts Affected. Print LSA is shelved in the Government Documents department.
Kentucky Revised Statutes: Published by Michie. Annotated official edition of all current state laws enacted by the Kentucky legislature. Updated annually by pocket parts. These volumes are shelved in the Law Library.
Kentucky Administrative Regulations: Kentucky administrative agency regulations currently in effect as of July each year. Subject index (blue pages) in the last volume is mostly by agency name and there are a few cross-references by subject. A table of KRS sections cited or referred to within the text is most helpful (pink pages). This set is comparable to CFR at the federal level. These volumes are shelved in the Government Documents department.
