Pamela Schoenewaldt to Visit Madison County Public Library
Join the Madison County Public Library Wednesday, June 8 at 1:00 p.m. at the Richmond branch, 507 West Main Street, for an afternoon with Pamela Schoenewaldt. Brought to Richmond through a collaboration between EKU Libraries and MCPL, Schoenewaldt is the award-winning author of When We Were Strangers. Schoenewaldt, author of several short stories and plays, will read from and discuss her novel; When We Were Strangers is a story rich in color, character, and vivid historical detail, it chronicles the tumultuous life journey of a young immigrant seamstress, as she travels from her isolated Italian mountain village through the dark corners of late nineteenth century America.
