Noel Studio Workshop: Writing Effective Introductions and Conclusions

Are you overwhelmed by the idea of starting your first major essay of the fall semester? Not sure how to end that long research paper? Stop by the John Grant Crabbe Main Library on Wednesday, September 8th, at 1:00 p.m. for a FREE workshop hosted by the Noel Studio for Academic Creativity.

The Noel Studio will offer a one-hour workshop to help students develop effective introduction and conclusion paragraphs. Noel Studio staff and workshop attendees will discuss the purpose behind, look at examples of, and practice creating strong introductions and conclusions. Students are encouraged to bring current assignments and drafts. Additionally, interested students are encouraged to visit the Noel Studio’s temporary location in Library 208 for individual consultations after the workshop.
