Elizabeth K. Baker Music Library
The Music Library contains thousands of books, scores, recordings, videos and periodicals devoted to the study and enjoyment of music. Audio/visual equipment housed in this branch library includes several computers, a MIDI workstation, and DVD viewing area.
The Music Library now features the 500 greatest pop albums of all time, as ranked by Rolling Stone magazine. This CD collection includes a variety of styles, ranging from the album listed as number one, The Beatles' Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, to album 248, Jay-Z's Reasonable Doubt and even Loretta Lynn's All Time Greatest Hits coming in at number 485.
Reference assistance can be unscheduled or by appointment. Online reference help is also available by consulting the Music Subject Guide.
