Library Express is a service that allows you to get access to materials both inside and outside of EKU Libraries; however, you MUST be a current EKU faculty or staff member or a current student to use the service.
You can place requests by:
- looking up an item in our Library Catalog and clicking the "Get It" button next to the item's status. This button will allow you to do one of three things: have an item pulled from our collections and held for you at one of our campus libraries or regional campus locations, have a hold placed on an item that is checked out, or have an item delivered from another library.
- looking up an item in WorldCat and clicking the "Get More at EKU" link that is located beneath the item's summary. This link will allow you to do one of two things: have an item pulled from our collections and held for you at one of our campus libraries or regional campus locations or have an item delivered from another library.
- looking up an article in one of our databases and clicking the "Get More" button when the full-text option is not available. This button allows you to request an article and have it delivered to your EKU email account.
- or, if you have citation information (i.e. title, author, ISBN, etc.) you can simply fill out a blank request form from your ILLiad account. Please include the most accurate and complete information possible to avoid delay.
Please allow adequate time for delivery of materials. Depending on your needs, there may be a waiting period for your requests.
