EKU Libraries are proud to support all EKU students, faculty and staff, regardless of location.  Much of what you need to conduct research can be found on the Libraries website, including ability to chat or txt with a librarian, search the library catalog, or search hundreds of online resources, even from home.  We will deliver books to your Regional Campus or hold them for you at a Richmond Campus library, and even UPS them to you if you live outside the EKU service area and are enrolled in EKU classes.  Even more, if you need a book or article that we don't own, we'll even get it for you!

Q. How can I get library materials delivered to me?
A. Students, faculty and staff taking classes at any of our regional campuses can have library materials delivered to our campuses. A courier service delivers to the campuses on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Library materials are held at the campus’s help desk for three weeks and can be picked up there.  Students taking online courses and who are located outside the EKU service area can request delivery of materials to their home via UPS.  Journal articles not available full text online will be delivered via email.

Q. How long can library materials be checked out?
A. Checkout periods are usually longer to allow for delivery time to remote locations affiliated with EKU. 

Q. How do I return library materials?
A. All library materials, except articles, can be returned to your regional campus resource center, the Main Library, or by mail at your own expense. Articles are yours to keep.

Q. How do I renew my books? 
A. Books may be renewed online twice for 4 weeks for each renewal.

Q. How do I get discipline-specific assistance?
A. The Library Liaison program is designed to link Library Faculty and University Academic departments.  Each academic department has been assigned a Library Faculty member.  Contact your liaison librarian to get discipline-specific assistance.
