Annual Friends' Program to Feature Jon Carloftis

Award winning garden designer and Kentucky native, Jon Carloftis, is the featured speaker at this year's Annual Friends of EKU Libraries Program.  The event, which has featured renowned speakers like Silas House and Tim Webb, will take place on Thursday, November 14 in the Keen Johnson Building.  Guests will also enjoy a buffet dinner and the music of local cellist and EKU faculty member Nathan Jasinski.

The opening reception will begin at 5:30 p.m.; dinner and the feature presentation will begin at 6:30 p.m..  Tickets are $30 and can be purchased by calling (859) 622-1072 prior to Monday, November 11.

Jon Carloftis' books and original birdhouse designs will be available for purchase and personalization after the event.  Complimentary parking will be available in the Alumni House lot with shuttle service beginning at 5 p.m.; a small number of handicap spots are also available on University Drive on a first come, first served basis.
